13. HUX
In order to give this kitchen a bright atmosphere, HUX collaborated with Zulufish, whose architectural vision includes installing three skylights and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. Herringbone paneling lends a historic touch to the custom kitchen design by HUX London. The extractor is effectively hidden by grey timber-veneered cabinetry. A marble splash-back and concrete countertops are also used in the material palette, providing a variety of textures that soften the contemporary design. While the range cooker and metal pendant provide a touch of rustic charm, the spacious kitchen island with breakfast bar also houses utilities and provides additional storage for little visual clutter.
